I was surprised to read (I think it was in The Smallholder) that there are only approximately 120 adult breeding Galway ewes in 16 flocks in the UK. All turned out well in the end. Thought I may spend a few hours by the river later, rod in hand... Ahhh... Trouble is I've been too busy fishing these past few weeks.<br /><br />Yesterday I took a day off from fishing and spent the day leaning on a gate staring at a field beyond.<br /><br />I spoke to some chap who said I had been a bad influence to children in the 1970s by smoking my pipe on television... "you're a fool" I told him, as I casually shifted the weight of my Greener G125 double barrel shotgun.<br /><br />If I were such a big influence you wouldn't be able to move down at the river for 40 something, pipe smoking chaps in green wellingtons.
